One of the best performance upgrades for the Miata! Frame rails aid in additional rigidity to the MX5 Miata uni-body. Our rails are made from 14 gauge mild steel laser cut and CNC profiled to ensure the tightest fit and best performance. Finished in heavy-duty powder coating. 11 fastening points for each rail using 7/16th grade 8 zinc plated hardware. Can be used as jacking points. This product comes with two frame rails per unit ordered. Now with provisions for fuel line clips on the passenger side rail. Powder coated in silver vain gray. New Gen2 rails - We've updated the outer edge for a scalloped edge to better conform to the uneven uni-body surface. Added reliefs for the stock fuel & brake line mounting points. Improved fitment to the trailing edge of the rails to suit the OEM structure. Here are our official Frame Rail installation instructions. Here's another great write-up on how to install V8R Frame Rails on your MX5 Miata. Here is review and install video on the frame rails - https://youtu.be/N8ZRQk37ACQ?si=zgpQhfbOFamJ3kUX

Q & A
Hi Anthony - Sorry, these are only available with our logo.
Hi Johnathan - this is not typical unless the stock frame rails are extremely damaged. Some customers use a silicone sealant at the front and rear of the rails to bond them to the chassis for additional weather proofing.
Hi Jack - Yes, all needed hardware is included.
Hi Roland - no, this rails fit the NA & NB chassis only.

If you own a NA, these are required!
These frame rails are incredible! I own the youngest NA out there (build date is Nov 1997).
What a difference installing the frame rails made. The car is planted and solid on the road.
You have to remove the seat and carpet to install them. Cut the carpet under the the center console to get it out. Otherwise you have to remove the dash.
I installed sound deadening material while I had the seats out. MAJOR UPGRADE. Worth the time and effort.
This upgrade is worth the effort!

Great Product
Super easy install. My car has the stereotypical pancaked frame rails from being slammed to the ground and driving like I have enough money to replace it. I feel like the installation is very self-explanatory, so I just lifted my car, determined what rail was for the left, and right. I then proceeded top massage my factory frame rails into position and the V8R frame rails slid into place. 10/10 recommend purchase.

Frame rails is at par
Frame rails Gen 2 are rigid and heavy-duty compared to the competition. They are easy to install once you bend into shape your existing rails.

In terms of the best bang for the buck, these rails were one of the best decisions I’ve made! I instantly felt the car stiffen up. Less creaking (especially with hardtop cars).. felt like the car was years newer. Outside of the rigidity, which you can feel through the wheel and seat, functionality was improved as well! I no longer was worried about crushing my fragile frame rails.
