Choose between our Elite or Pro front lower control arms. Each option is sold in a set of two and is compatible with MX5 NA and NB subframes and spindles. Both options include additional Mazda adjustment eccentrics. Arms are Powder coated in silver vain gray.
V8R Pro Series Front Lowers
Pro Series front lower arms use a mix of 3/4″ PTFE heim joints having an ultimate static load rating of 28,081 lbs, with stainless steel misalignment spacers. All bearing mounting points eliminate bushing compliance in suspension movement while offering an infinite range of adjustments. Thick wall 1.5″ DOM construction and additional outer eccentric adjuster offers two degrees of camber adjustment. 2lbs lighter than NB stamped steel arms while offering superior strength, stiffness, and adjustment. Arm profile is slimmer than OEM offering additional clearance for wider wheels. Powder coated in silver vain gray.
V8R Elite Series Front Lowers
Designed to take a beating! 1.5" DOM tubing design. CAD-designed adjustable outer box offers 2 degrees of additional camber adjustment. Improved steering feedback through additional stiffness. 2+ pound saving over factory NB arms per corner. Proprietary 95A graphite impregnated polyurethane bushings mounting points eliminate compliance in suspension movement with CNC machined and zinc-coated sleeves. Arm profile is slimmer than OEM offering additional clearance for wider wheels. Powder coated in silver vain gray.

Took a little bit of work to install, but we'll worth the effort.
Purchased these control arms for nasa st6 championship, we will be running these amazing control arms on our build this year and couldn’t be more excited. Absolutely blown away with the build quality of these control arms! Able to get up to -3.6 degrees of useable camber from these arms and couldn’t be happier! Super impressed with the ease of adjustability, able to get the ball joint loosened up without pulling the strut and utilizing factory Mazda assentric bolts makes racing with these arms even easier!

The truth matters but so do specifics. I purchased the elite series for a '99. I weighed both pairs of control arms, as pairs, apples to apples: bushings pressed in, the exact same ball joints installed. I measured a total weight loss of 1.4 pounds for the lower pair. The control arms these replaced were fairly old and had significant shaving for clearance. I most certainly saw a measurable weight loss in moving to these arms despite my shaved arms. How much weight any particular car will drop is going to depend entirely on the exact arms purchased and the exact arms replaced. These new arms have areas that could be shaved to further reduce weight. That being said, I did not really purchase these for weight reduction.
I was looking for a stronger set of control arms with greater adjustability. Check and check. These arms are practically bomb-proof. The changes to suspension geometry are bonkers and in the best way possible. For most people, this should be reason enough.
More importantly, for me ... I am running drop knuckles that increase the steering angle at full lock. I also have a modified steering rack that further increases steering angle. I need a skinny control arm to clear wheels at full lock and these deliver in spades. The factory arms are about 4.75" wide (at the skinny bit) whereas these are about 3.25" wide. This makes a world of difference.
I could not be happier with these arms and I recommend them to everyone.
