Excellent upgrade for the NC
These have been a fantastic addition to my 2006. I got the car with no miles on it and a new body after the previous owner crashed it, and I had A LOT of suspension work to do. I originally went with urethane bushings for the new steering rack but somehow they were worse than the stock rubber.
These, though, these are the ticket. Best steering feel in any of my three MX-5’s by miles. Just wanted to write this so NC owners know this will fit your car and is an absolute no-brainer in terms of handling upgrades.
If you have access to a lift this is a 20 minute install. No need to ‘remove’ the rack from the car. I did have to pull one power steering line, but refilling and bleeding the system took all of 5 minutes.

Very precise and great feel on the track, solid as. Definitely one of the first things I’d do if I were to buy another NB.

they are definitely a good upgrade to have. makes the steering over all more responsive and predictive feeling the steering loads up more consistently in the turns. when transitioning from one way to another it doesn’t have a soft feeling spot where the stock bushings deflect to the other side. definitely recommended for any one doing more then casual street driving.
