For those that prefer all inclusive, we’ve bundled together all of the necessities to build your own V8 Roadster. Buy a complete package and save(customer supplies engine, transmission, and differential): RX8 LSx mounting kit(subframe, engine mounts, transmission x-member, frame rails, & hardware) Drive line kit for 8.8(diff mount, axles, & drive shaft) Clutch kit for T56(master cylinder, lines & fittings, adapter bracket) Custom front sway bar for the swap CAN module for gauges(compatible with 58x reluctor wheel E38 ECU) Fuel kit from RX8 tank to fuel rail(braided SS lines & fittings, filter, pump) Power steering line from GM CTSV pump to Mazda NC rack NC rack modification to clear oil pan T-shirt - please advise of size You will still need smaller items like coolant hoses, hose clamps, 5th gen Camaro shorty header and exhaust back , etc to complete the conversion. Customer supplies the engine, transmission, and differential. We can custom tailor this packages to remove/add smaller items such as power steering, remote oil filter, or upgrade drive line levels. Hi Ricardo - Correct, those are sourced by the customer.
Hi Tyler - the kit components are cross compatible through all years, expect the front diff mount. The 2nd gen rear subframe is a boxed design and require additional fan to install.
Hi Naseve - any 5th gen Camaro shorty style header will work. We use the Hooker Blackheart or OEM depending on the build.
Hi Abraham - this package includes a steel drive shaft for the T56 to the 8.8. The axles are also included and rated for 550hp. A/C can be retained and recommend the CTSV accessory drive. No harness is included, this should be sourced as a standalone to match your donor ECU.
Hi Lenny - this kit uses the cobra/t-bird/mark8 style 8.8. We do not have any videos directly related on Youtube. There are several forum builds that do detail the conversion.
