V8R Batwing transmission mount is used when removing the power plant frame(PPF) and retaining the stock transmission. Common when upgrading differentials to handle additional power like our drive line kits or hard mounting the stock differential to remove drive line flex. The mount bolts through the transmission tunnel and requires seat removal for installation. Powder coated in silver vain gray.

    Ppf delete
    Great product easy to install. I like there fabrication work. Just wish v8 roadsters made a brace/solid mount for the stock diff. Other companies sell the diff brace but I think v8 roadsters can make a better one. I have a 1991 with a 1.8 swap most aftermarket braces are for 94 and up.

Do you have the bolt size for the two bolts that bolt the transmission to the mount? It seem to have vibrated off. Customer asked on January 3, 2024

Hi Jereme - The bolts are M10x1.25 x 45mm

Hello, I recently purchased this part and I was just wondering, how much better is this paired with the kmiata diff mount compared to just a regular PPF on the Miata? thanks. Customer asked on July 19, 2023

Hi Jereme - You will notice a much more direct drive line connection with accurate shifts when removing the PPF. We recommend pairing it with a kit like the Kmiata.

What size are the bolts provided in the kit mine seem to have vibrated loose and need to replace them Customer asked on April 10, 2023
