V8 Roadsters Pro Series is a true radial mount racing brake system. Radial mount systems reduce lateral torsion, or flex. The strength of the DynaPro is a combination of process and design. The process of stess-flow forging re-aligns the internal grain structure of the metal to flow within the contour of the caliper body. This produces a part with superior strength compared to machined block billet parts or castings. The FEA generated body design features a radial transition between the piston bores and caliper bridges. This eliminates machined steps and shoulders in this critical strength area and substantially increases the resistance against deflection and body separation under high load. Structural deflection and volume displacement testing have proven the efficiency of this innovative design. It has a 30% increase in pad volume over traditional 4 piston lug mount kits.
Pair with our CAD designed and FEA tested hats that weigh in just over 1lb, and are designed with cooling reliefs for greater thermal dissipation. 11.750″ rotors offer the largest thermal capacity available under 15″ wheels. This kit is spec’d with straight vanes; curved vaned Spec 37 upgrades available.
Rotors: Mounted over 11.75x.810″ straight rotors and V8R custom fixed or floating hats. Included anti-rattle hardware significantly reduced pad knock and keeps brake noise to a minimum. This is a motorsports-level brake solution with enough civility to use on a daily-driven car.
Pads: Our kits are sold without pads to allow the end user to select the pad type that best suit their needs. We offer a handful of pad options and would be happy to provide insight to what pads would work best for your needs.
This kit uses the Wilwood 7816 pad shape(16mm). That means there are already a huge amount of pads for this kit! Pads are readily available for this brake kit from the following manufacturers:

Wheel Fitment: We wanted to offer the best performance in every single category, including wheel fitment. Our 11.75″ kits will clear most current aftermarket 15″ wheels. Fitment template is available via email. Proper wheel clearance is responsibility of the end user.
Design: All V8R parts are CAD designed and FEA tested and machined in house with today’s latest CNC equipment. This kit has been tested extensively in the harshest conditions, both on the street and at the race track.
Spare Parts: Like any kit destined to be used for years on track, the ready supply of spare parts is incredibly important when considering whether or not to buy an aftermarket braking system for your NC MX5. We took this into consideration when designing this kit, and as such are able to keep the price of consumables lower than almost any other brake kit on the market today. Rotor rings, brake pads, and hardware are all readily available through us, as well as many online vendors. Because this caliper uses a pad shape that has been in production for over two decades, along with a rotor size and bolt pattern shared with many off-the-shelf brake solutions, parts will always be affordable and readily available.
